The Isuzu D-Max Blade will impress

With the incredible success of last year’s special edition, the Isuzu D-Max Blade is now the firm’s flagship model in its excellent pick-up range.

The new vehicle has more comfort and style enhancements and will cost from £25,999. It’s available to order now.

Last year’s special edition of the D-Max Blade was a huge success for Isuzu having sold twice as many as they had planned.

Its success helped them to rack-up a record annual sales figure of more than 5,500 units for the UK market.

Indeed, the new Isuzu D-Max Blade is exclusive to the UK and has a double cab and a six speed manual gearbox – the five-speed auto transmission costs £1,000 more.

New paint scheme for the Isuzu D-Max Blade

The standard paint finish is Cosmic Black for the Isuzu D-Max Blade with the new option for 2015 of a Pearlescent White finish.

To help it stand out from the crowd, this range topper has a number of technology upgrades and style enhancements.

Among the design tweaks are a new front grille and a paint finish to the mirror caps, tailgate and door handles.

The firm has also added a soft close tailgate damper as standard to offer a more practical solution for users.

Other standard kit for the Isuzu D-Max Blade includes 18 inch alloy wheels and a choice of either a leisure canopy or a roller cover with rear style bar at no extra cost.

Premium features for the Isuzu D-Max Blade

The cabin now features premium features such as heated leather seats, bespoke scuff plates and unique carpet mats.

Isuzu have also created a fresh interior with ‘piano black’ highlights to help create a nice place to drive and work in.

Also in the cabin is an eight- speaker audio system and a 6.1 inch infotainment system which includes rear safety camera.

The Isuzu D-Max Blade is powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine with twin turbo to produce 163 PS and a useful 400nM of torque.

This power enables the D-Max Blade to tow up to 3.5tonnes (braked) while having fuel economy of around 39mpg.

However, as with all Isuzu models one of its most attractive features is the firm’s excellent five-year or 125,000 mile warranty.
