Prices for new Renault Master van confirmed

It’s one of the UK’s most popular vans and an army of fans are eagerly awaiting the new Renault Master and now the firm has announced pricing details.

The Renault Master panel van will start at £21,120, the crew van will cost from £27,000 while the conversion ranges begin at £23,300.

There are two trim levels in the Master line-up: the Business and Business+ with a choice of front or wheel drive and four GVW weights of 2,800kg, 3,300kg, 3,500kg and 4,500kg.

Renault are also introducing a new long single rear-wheel drive version.

Other variants include crew vans, some with seven seats, medium and long wheelbase van conversions including tippers, chassis cabs, dropsides, box vans, platform cabs as well as Lutons.

That’s an impressive range of body lengths and styles and buyers can also choose from five diesel engines which include the frugal Energy version.

Opt for the new Twin Turbo dCi 165 in the Energy range and drivers should see economy of around 41mpg and CO2 emissions of 180g/km.

Options and kit for the new Renault Master van

All new Renault Master vans will come with a six speed manual gearbox or the useful Quickshift6 transmission.

There’s also a huge array of options available as well as four option packs.

Standard kit on the new Renault Master has also been boosted and now includes electronic stability control with the Grip Xtend – great for loose or snow-covered surfaces – hill start assist, trailer swing assist and DAB radio.

Among the options are a wide view mirror to help boost visibility in the passenger side blind spot.

Entry level Renault Master to be bestseller

Essentially, buyers in the UK will have a choice of 120 different versions of the Master range which will help to underline Renault as Europe’s number one LCV brand.

Competition in the sector has become stiffer this year and the Master van which is most likely to be the best seller is the entry point for the entire range called Business.

It comes with a full steel bulkhead, deadlocking, 16 anchorage points in the load space, a loading glazed door on the left side, adjustments for the steering wheel and driver’s seat as well as electric windows and heated mirrors.

Buyers can order the new Renault Master now with deliveries starting in September.
