Special edition Nissan Navara unveiled

This is the new special version of one of the best pick-ups around, the Nissan Navara and it made its world debut in Brussels.

The Navara Trek-1 is based on the firm’s double cab model and features the top spec Tekna trim for practicality that’s ‘smart and tough’.

The vehicle also features LED spot lamps, styling bars, a load bed divider and cover as well as 18-inch black alloy wheels.

The Nissan Navara is one of the best pick-ups around and now there’s a special edition.

However, the firm is only making 1,500 Nissan Navara Trek-1 models so demand is bound to be strong.

The pick-up itself has won lots of awards and the Trek-1 part of its name comes from the location in northern Spain’s Navarre desert which gives the  Navara its name.

Among the vehicles many awards, it is the current holder of the International Pick-up Award with judges praising the vehicle’s standard performance both on- and off-road and its ‘go anywhere’ capabilities.

Nissan says the vehicle is the perfect partner whether for business or leisure use and it comes packed with smart ‘in control’ technologies.

 

Extras for the Nissan Navara Trek-1

Optional extras for the Nissan Navara Trek-1 include heated front seats, leather seats and an adjustable driver’s seat, there’s also a tow bar, powered sunroof and a full-size spare wheel.

Available in two colours, black metallic or pearlescent white, the vehicle comes with an excellent 2.3 litre twin turbo unit which is coupled to either a seven-speed automatic transmission or a six speed manual box. Both versions offer, as standard, ‘on demand’ four-wheel-drive.

Standard equipment includes rear parking sensors, around view monitor, satnav, DAB radio and LED headlights.

The excellent Nissan Navara Trek-1 has already been launched in Belgium and will be rolled across other European markets over the coming weeks.
