The Kia P5 is the manufacturer’s first fully electric commercial vehicle, tailored for the UK market with a versatile line-up including Cargo, Crew and Chassis Cab variants.
Priced from £27,645 (+VAT), the PV5 Cargo qualifies for a £5,000 OZEV Plug-in Van Grant, making it an attractive option for businesses transitioning to electric fleets.
Available initially in L2/H1 configuration, the PV5 Cargo offers two battery options: a 51.5kWh standard-range pack with a 181-mile range and 790kg payload.
And there’s a 71.2kWh long-range pack extending to 247 miles with a 690kg payload.
Both deliver 250Nm of torque for robust performance.
Fast charging at 150kW takes either battery from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.

PV5 Crew and Chassis Cab
The Crew variant, designed for passenger transport, and the adaptable Chassis Cab, ideal for conversions, will see pricing announced later this year.
Additional sizes, L1/H1 and L2/H2, are slated for 2026.
The PV5 boasts a 4.4m3 cargo volume in its L2/H1 Cargo form, accommodating two euro-pallets.
Its E-GMP.S platform ensures a low 419mm load height and a tight 10.8m turning circle for easy manoeuvrability.
Kia PV5 trims
There are two trim levels for the Kia PV5, Essential and Plus, which cater to varied needs.
Essential includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen with Android Automotive OS, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a 7.5-inch driver display.
Safety features like forward collision-avoidance and lane keep assist are standard.
The Plus trim, for an extra £910 (+VAT), adds heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and vehicle-to-load capabilities.
Accessories like racking enhance versatility, positioning the PV5 as a leader in electric commercial transport.

Kia PV5 warranty
Every Kia PV5 model includes a class-leading seven-year/100,000-mile warranty, alongside an eight-year guarantee for the high-voltage battery.
The cost increases to £30,145 (+VAT) for the long-range battery option.
The PV5 Crew, designed with two front seats and a rear bench, provides generous cargo storage and is solely offered in L2/H1 configuration with the 51.5kWh standard-range battery.
This setup delivers a 174-mile range per charge, driven by a front-mounted motor producing 89.4kW and 250Nm of torque.
For enhanced versatility, the rear bench in the PV5 Crew can slide forward or backward and fold, adjusting cargo space or passenger room as needed.
The bulkhead, fixed to the rear seats, moves accordingly.
The payload capacity is 605kg, with a cargo volume ranging from 2.4 to 3.7m³.
Like other PV5 variants, the Crew offers Essential or Plus trim levels.
The order books have already opened, with deliveries starting later this year.
