Mercedes-Benz Trucks has unveiled a significant update to its flagship Actros L model.

The new Actros L boasts a raft of improvements designed to impress fleet operators and professional drivers alike.

The most striking update is the truck’s completely redesigned exterior, dubbed the ProCabin.

Inspired by the electric eActros, the ProCabin prioritises aerodynamics for maximum fuel efficiency.

Boasts a range of comfort features

The ProCabin comes in three sizes and boasts a range of comfort features including optimised seat heating, premium seat covers and improved bunks with upgraded mattresses.

The interior also features LED lighting throughout, additional USB-C ports and a high-quality curtain.

The new Actros L features the latest iteration of the 12.8-litre OM 471 diesel engine, designed to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while lowering emissions.

This engine offers fuel savings of up to 4% compared to the previous generation.

Actros L incorporates a new electronics platform

The new Actros L incorporates a new electronics platform that utilises sensor fusion to provide a 270-degree view around the vehicle.

This allows the truck’s advanced assistance systems to offer drivers unparalleled support while meeting to legal driving responsibilities.

The Actros L also benefits from the firm’s Trucks Uptime, a suite of intelligent networking features designed to keep your truck on the road.

Uptime continuously monitors the vehicle’s health, pinpointing potential repair needs before they become breakdowns.

This allows you to plan workshop visits proactively, minimizing downtime and aligning with your operational schedule.

Production of the new Actros L is scheduled to begin at the end of the year and more details, including ordering, will be released later.
