Maxus e Deliver 3 (formerly LDV) (2021)

The new Maxus e Deliver 3 is an impressive electric van that offers a driving range of 200 miles. For those who may not be aware, this is the rebadged LDV EV30 and it is a rival to the likes of the Nissan eNV200 and the Renault Kangoo ZE. There are two wheelbase versions, two battery capacities and because it has been designed from the start as a compact electric van, which makes the Maxus e Deliver 3 a nice EV to drive.

Renault Master ZE (2018)

The Renault Master ZE is certainly worth another look in a rapidly growing segment; while there will be fleet owners reluctant to take on board an electric vehicle, the Master ZE really does deliver. It also has one of the most comfortable cabins currently available and the all-round offering will impress. For those who are doing lots of drop-offs in towns and cities, the Master ZE will make economic sense and there’s no fear of running out of power before the day’s work is over. Our rating would have been five out of five but the issues over range means we have to give a lower rating.

Ford Transit Custom (2018)

The popular Ford Transit Custom is being revamped for 2018 with a range of impressive improvements and news that a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) will be introduced in 2019. There are some styling tweaks and an improved cabin, particularly for connectivity. There’s also a new engine, it’s a version of the British-built EcoBlue 2.0 litre diesel unit developing 105 HP and returning fuel economy of around 50 mpg. It’s also going to be a sound choice for those owners who want car-like handling, a comfortable cabin with lots of stowage and a stylish exterior design – fleet operators will love the intelligent speed limiter to ensure their drivers stay within the law. In a competitive segment the new Ford Transit Custom is going to be heard to beat.

Citroen Dispatch (2016)
